Northside College Prep is completely different from your average American high school that you would typically see in a cheesy movie. For starters, we don't have any regular classes; all of our classes are either honors or AP. Thus, each and every student works hard to keep up with the extreme workload that consistently awaits them. The good part about that is the fact that no one ever gets bored; you always will have a challenge in your education that you will have to overcome and I believe that it teaches us to always maintain an excellent work ethic. The student environment is my favorite part though. It doesn't matter if you're gay, lesbian, straight, POC, white, transgender, handicap, etc. You will find a group of people that you can instantaneously click with as well as a school community that is unconditionally accepting of your identity. I would choose this school again because finding myself and being able to love myself after receiving constant support and love from my fellow peers was the best part of high school.

The experience this school offers is second to none. It not only offers an outstanding and challenging curriculum for the students but it also insures students a friendly environment that makes them feel independant and stress free.

I feel that a lot of the students that attend Northside become too focused on their grades, classes especially AP classes that their health falters. Although, you meet a lot of nice and friendly people I wouldn't go throw high school again for the sake of my mentality.
